Support for Windows 7 and 8.1 devices on Intel Skylake extended

Several months ago Microsoft stated (and also listed) that a couple of PCs with Intel's Skylake processors that run Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 will be fully supported until July 17 2017. But, a new report claims that Microsoft has decided to extend support for devices with these processors to the same time it will end its support on all other PCs.

This policy change primarily applies to commercial customers who are currently managing deployments with Windows 7 and Windows 8.1, and does not apply to customers running Windows 10.
