Japan based ODM (Original Device Manufacturer) NuAns, manufacturers of NEO a uniquely built Windows 10 Mobile device has failed to reach its Kickstarter campaign to help bring the device to the rest of the world by not meeting its set fundraising goal of $725,000. After 45 days of its campaign 489 backers pledged $142,368 which did not reach the minimum goal in the end.
NuAns NEO is packed with some pretty impressive specifications, a 5-inch 1280x720 display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, 6GB of expandable storage and 2GB of RAM which means it supports Windows 10 Mobile's Continuum feature so that it can work like a PC when connected to a monitor, keyboard and mouse.
The company asked backers on Kickstarter to pledge $270 0r more to get either a TWOTONE or a FLIP cover along with one NuAns NEO. However, even with the cool looks and sweet deal not enough backers saw it fit to take the plunge and get one. NuAns hinted on the comment section of its Kickstarter page that they might be selling the device through other methods worldwide.
